You can teach a cat just about anything if you have the patients. I think my old boy is a very smart cat and knows just about any word I throw at him.
We had a cat that would shake hands. We trained him with potato chips. Our friends trained their cat to shake hands, too…plus lie down, roll over, jump through a hoop, and walk a tightrope! They trained Chloe with lox from the corner deli.
